This filter uses Dual-Gradient Density tech (50-micron outer pre-filter - 5-micron inner post-filter) to dramatically increase dirt-holding capacity, offering up to 3 times the life of standard sediment filters. It efficiently removes fine dirt, sand, silt, rust, and scale particles, protecting plumbing and appliances. Manufactured from 100% pure polypropylene, it provides excellent chemical resistance and will not impart taste, odor, or color to your water. Compatible with standard Big Blue 4.5" x 10" filter housings (the DGD-5005-20 is the 20" version).
