jen3__ Hi Jenna - what material are the earrings made out of please? You state hypoallergenic, but are these 925 sterling silver, or gold plated? I have a reaction to certain metals thus my question. thank you!

jenna_casciotti @jen3__ Hi. Thanks for your interest! They are made from surgical steel and gold plated. Surgical steel earrings are extremely hypo-allergenic and won't cause painful or uncomfortable reactions on your skin (in most cases!). As long as you clean them regularly and the backs too they should not bother you. I do send a polish cloth with Jewelry purchases as well. I also sanitize them before I ship!

jenna_casciotti @jen3__ I have sensitive ears too. I prefer to use the silicone backs and I switch them out frequently (depending on how long you are wearing them). I find that the metal ones are harder to clean the inside and that a lot of the time is the problem. For me at least. I always recommend switching them out once in a while. I also like the backs that have the larger disc on the back because that holds up the earrings straighter on the ear. Especially heavier earrings!
