New England Glass Works Co. Soaring Rhinestone Bird Brooch

This is a 2 1/4” long Rhinestone Soaring Bird by the New England Glass Works. This beautiful bird has a red eye and yellow beak. New England Glass Works operated in Providence, RI from about 1911 to 1958. It became Rice Weiner in 1938, yet continued stamping it's jewelry with the original "NE" Chalice logo. Distinctive cast metal pieces, this brooch is highly collectible. This would make a great gift.
