steve__mcqueen @lowpaidnerd Hi Beverly— thank you for your interest. The laces on these are elastic and allow you to slip them on, but keep the shoes snug. They could be tightened by adding a plastic cord lock to the top loop. You can find these online and are pretty cheap for a multipack. I hope this was helpful.
