Nettie Rosenstein 1960's Gold Plated Brooch 25g weight Three Dimensional 1" x 1.25" x 3/4"H Roll Over Pin Closure Finish in Excellent Condition Nettie Rosenstein brought ready-to-wear fashion like the “little black dress” to American consumers in 1916. During the depression in 1937, her company grossed $1 Million. Her high end dresses and accessories were sold out of 92 boutiques and department stores in New York City. She designed gloves, striking accessories and jewelry to match. Nettie discontinued the fashion side of her business in 1961, but her jewelry was sold under her name by Sol Klein until 1975.
