abstractdreams @carmelacandy : There is a bit of a learning curve. I've been here a long time (4 years this May) and I'm happy to help. Regarding sharing an entire closet: if you click on the box in the upper right in a closet, there's an option to share this closet : to FB, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter...etc (also where report/block & view bundle buttons are). Lmk if that's clear...👍🏽💕

Like the one I mentioned, it was an offer transaction that disappeared, so I was unable to print a label. I'm not feeling great, so I thought I misunderstood & she had not bought the item, since no label & it wasn't marked Sold...

Well she responds right away (the only time) & says she thought she "bought them for..." less than we agreed on as it turns out!! I gave them to her for that price & mailed pkg the same day!!! I was moving my items in my closet because of a sale (what a pain to get those at the bottom) and one of my dresses ended up with a yellow "Reserved" banner where the sold banner would be 😳 I have no idea if you can reserve something? If so, can you explain how? Thanks!!!🌺

slroland Linda thanks for the likes and shares , sorry to about illness , yes I have epilepsy and rheumatoid arthritis very painfully The physician gave me 15mg of meloxicam It doesn't help , my joints are in constant pain I could go on , and I find people really don't know how much pain you're in, hope you have more better days than good one

abstractdreams @gypsysoulboho : A couple things. First you've got good pics, reasonable prices and you've done well in a short time!👍🏽Sharing is critical & you get that! You could use more followers tho (since that's who sees your shares)! A good way to get them is a "follow me" listing, but a faster way is by following all the ppl who "like" Party Hosts party listings! The Posher's saying congrats are active & fired UP!

(Same as Linda, long time) I got an email From posh saying an item I had sold was being disputed. It said it wasn't as described. I asked the person who said it and she said "you told me the septum piercing ring was new, and it wasn't. It had nose skin in it ". I wrote her back and said that's impossible.

cherryblast I bought it for my daughter and she didn't like it. Now before sending, she asked for more pictures, so I took it out of the package to take more pictures. (Next time I will not do this!) so she could see exactly how it looked. I emailed posh and told them how long id been with them, this had never happened, and that this wasn't true. (Told them to look at post etc..) well their decision was for us both. I got paid and She got a refund and got to keep the item. It made me really angry.

cherryblast I don't think it's fair she got to keep it and get refunded when she straight up lied. Nose skin?? On a brand new ring? She told me at first she just didn't like it and wanted a diff one. Angry posh basically gave her money back and the item.

abstractdreams @kimkjc2 : You enable sharing an entire closet to other platforms in your own settings. Then each time you actually share, on that page below where you click followers or Party, you'll see the platforms you've enabled in green. FB/Instagram/Pinterest are all there. Sharing inside of the Posh app has to be done 1 listing at a time. I don't know that shares are updated by the second or if you have to hit a number before your share total changes.

If they're over, I'd factor shipping into price (maybe u did) & say "Price Firm." Of course, the one day I'm not on Poshmark all day, I just discovered I'm a host pick at tonight's party and it is almost over!!!! 😫🙈 What is the proper etiquette? How do I thank the hosts? I asked if there was tarnish - looked tarnished, was it uniform in color. She said never worn just slightly darker area at very top - that photos just dark. Continued

vb2011 @abstractdreams I looked at necklace this morning. Little dark tarnish areas on necklace chain and top of chain is very dark, not just slightly at top as stated. It arrived with no tissue paper or other packing materials, etc. -- just necklace tossed in w/ card rattling around in box. It was twisted and knotted up in several places, and still has kinks at top from unknotting. Advice? Meanwhile, at hospital. Dad had stroke can't talk, paralyzed on right side. 😟

But the more you share, or other Poshers share for you...the more Sales you'll make! A bundle discount can help too...it offsets shipping costs for people.

karladex @abstractdreams I have a question for you. I had a Posher ask me to email them about one of my listings. In the yr I have been on Poshmark I have never had anyone ask me to do that. Something just doesn't feel right. I feel like everything should be handled on Poshmark. This person is a buyer only. No items listed in their closet. What are your thoughts?

abstractdreams @colesgrammy53 : I can tell you that 5 Sales in 3 months is GREAT! I didn't make a single sale for months when I first started in 2012! Don't make yourself crazy with pics!! What makes a difference is clear & well lit, close up of details. Specific, detailed descriptions help too. Shares = Sales! No one sees items otherwise! You need more followers too since that's who sees your shares!

abstractdreams @sohoboho Good morning! Items can only be shared to a Party 1x due to a Posh algorithm. RSVPing, sharing items often, and congratulating Party Hosts gets you on their radar! Many hosts choose HP's from their Party listings. Following ALL the Posters there helps grow your closet quickly as well. Critical since your followers are who see your shares. Posters there are active (important) & fired UP!👍🏼

How can that endeavor be profitable since anyone on Posh can buy those same items through Wholesale? I would like to eventually become a Boutique seller but I want to make sure I do it profitably. Any pointers or knowledge about how that works would be much appreciated.

abstractdreams @sohoboho With all due respect to Posh/Wholesalers, I have never purchased for that reason. The RSP & the prices I see the boutique items actually selling for are WAY OFF! If you have a wholesale hookup you may be able to make a profit. Make absolutely sure items are Posh compliant before you purchase tho. I know a few Poshers who lost BIG buying items that aren’t - just because they saw others selling them.💔

krvb2 I have a question. I am a newer Posher (I’ve had 100% good experiences so far buying and selling). However, sometimes I just get it wrong and buy the wrong size. In my busy busy life, I don’t have time to do returns or haggle a seller for a return, what is the proper protocol for re-selling something that doesn’t fit... or is there one? In other words, if I bought from you and re sold on Poshmark because it didn’t fit, is that offensive?

abstractdreams @krvb2 Not at all! Asking for measurements can help, but many Poshers are not accurate, so it happens. I clearly state that it’s a rePosh, and often give the orig seller a shout out & tag their closet. It alerts them & can smooth over any issues. I’m pretty sure that Posh only does returns for damage, misleading descriptions and/or fakes. So asking a TON of questions helps both the buyer and the seller. 👍🏼💕

2ndtimeearound @abstract-dreams could you take a look at my closet and give me some feedback. I'm a newbie, but very coachable. My main issue is what to post first. I'm blessed and cursed with having a 2,600 sq ft home filled with anything you can imagine. I'm stuck because I don't where to start.
