Necklace is in good condition and kept in a clean smoke free home. *** there are some areas on the shell chips missing black paint. Because of the coloring, layering, and because the beads can be turned to view either side it’s not an eyesore and can be worn without it being noticed. *** The black is actual shell. The gray came up as gemstones as well on my presidium II but I do not know what the gemstone would be. It registered spinel. 5 strand layered necklace: Clasp and extender is a dark gray chain. The 5 strands are on sturdy black wires that make it keep its shape and hang nicely. From top to center it starts with 2mm silver tone beads, shell chips painted black approximate 7-20mm square type, and dark gray circular approximate 7mm. Strands layer approximately 15”, 16”, 17”, 19”. 21” plus 3” extender. Shortest strand on max extender 8 1/2” drop and longest strand on maximum extender 11 1/2” drop.
