Navajo Bear Paw Shadowbox Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet P. Spencer This a beautiful cuff bracelet handmade by Native American Navajo Indian silversmith Pearlene Spencer. It is made of sterling silver and a robin egg blue turquoise. I do believe this is Sleeping Beauty turquoise but I am not an expert. The lovely turquoise cabochon pieces are are set in sawtooth bezel settings in the shadowbox fashion. The turquoise is the paw of the bear, with the bear nails being artistically depicted in deep cuts. This is a traditional Navajo design and Ms Spencer has done a beautiful job of capturing that tradition and creating an exquisite work of wearable art. The cuff measures 6.25" with an opening of 1-1/4. You can slightly bend this cuff for a tighter fit but I would recommend taking it to a qualified jeweler to have it done so the proper shape and structural integrity are maintained. Vintage jewelry will show some signs of age, which is expected from many years of wear. If I see anything out of normal wear, I will always note it. Please ask any questions before buying.
