Navajo Authentic Vintage Dean Brown Sterling Silver &‎ Turquoise Cross Necklace

This exquisite vintage Dean Brown Sterling Silver Navajo cross necklace and pendant dating back to the '60s, features a magnificent large silver cross pendant showcasing museum-quality craftsmanship. The authentic sterling Silver pendant with genuine turquoise measures 4” long x 3” wide. The necklace itself measures 12” long, including the pendant total length is 15 1/2”. The thick and sturdy, heavy pendant is complemented by expertly crafted Navajo pearls and torpedo-shaped sterling silver beads throughout the necklace, secured with a traditional silver clasp. Due to its age, the entire piece boasts a charming old natural patina. The hallmark is the D B. Navajo silversmith, Dean Brown, who is now deceased, was Kirk Smith's nephew. Dean apprenticed under his famous uncle. Dean was successful in his own right, producing old style jewelry, similar to Kirk's.
