Natural Yellow Green Prehnite Necklace, Bronze Fortune Cat + Genuine Gemstone Prehnite is a newly-found semi-preciostone. It was first described in 1788 and named for Colonel Hendrik Von Prehn (1733–1785), commander of the military forces of the Dutch colony at the Cape of Good Hope. The beauty of this stone is its semi-transparent green colour, which makes it looks like high-quality jade. An inosilicate of calcium and aluminum, prehnite forms crystals of a pearly green or yellow luster. Particularly beautiful specimens are used to carve pendants or rings. 9 mm yellow green prehnite beads 15 mm cute fortune cat bronze pendant, on the back side is the Chinese character "fortune" up-side down, which means the fortune is coming back :) The length is about 16", bronze lobster claw clasp + extension chain.
