* WHAT IT IS:
Handmade Native American storyteller pottery figurine, signed “EB” on the underside, attributed to Eva Betonie (Navajo, b.1968). Betonie has been making pottery since 1990, and her works are known for their vibrant colors and expressive forms.This traditional Pueblo-inspired art form features a central figure with an open mouth (singing or storytelling), surrounded by 4 children. Storyteller dolls celebrate oral tradition and the passing of stories across generations.
* CONDITION:
Excellent condition. As with many vintage items a certain amount of imperfections are expected. This piece showed very minimal wear. Lovingly set behind glass well taken care of. Signature is readable. This is not a miniature but a full size piece of art. No cracks or repairs noted.
