Napier Wide Ribbon Hoop Earrings

Napier is known to be the oldest fashion jewelry (meaning costume jewelry versus fine jewelry) house in America, selling a range of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings in the 1920,s and 1930’s. and very popular charm bracelets in the 1950’s. Napier officially closed in 1999. These gorgeous wide ribbon hoops were likely from the early 1980’s. with gold plated brush finish and clip on screwback closures. They measure 2 cm wide X 5 cm long. Two designer signatures are stamped on earrings, as shown in photos: one in back of the clip on, and one inside the hoop. The fine craftsmanship of these superior earrings is of a standard no longer available in costume jewelry today. These earrings are in excellent condition, like brand new.
