Nanette Lepore Vintage-Style Suit, skirt size 6P, jacket size 8P. I had to Google this designer to find out she was NOT European – but has sold all over the world. I picked this up and love its vintage look, but EVERY detail is like a couture garment, everything fits and flares so perfectly. It’s a bold suit, but also …. Somewhat whimsical and truly feminine. A statement suit …. The pieces are so beautiful you’re tempted to wear them separately so people notice all the details. ***There are NO readable "ingredient" labels on the jacket or skirt, it's as if the dry cleaning washed them out. (I attached on to the listing, but it's ueeless.) Without proof, I can only describe the fabric. It's most likely a cotton or, more possibly, a rayon blend since it feels more polished than cotton. The fabric has BEAUTIFUL up and down gorgeous threaded stitching on both pieces, truly couture work. this is a suit you would wash in cold water, pull on the seams, collar, etc. to straighten them - and air dry. Or, take to the dry cleaners. Fully lined; the lining even looks expensive: typicaly lining is just polyeste or (worse, shiny satin) polyester - but this lining (again) could be a rayon blend. It's a matte black lining, slight sheen, fine quaity. Vintage work.***
