Nanette Lepore Sailor Pants Possibly Y2K Vintage

Cream sailor style pants made from heavier weight, canvas like material. Detachable panel covers zipper closure. No care and materials tag present. Based on brand label, estimating this dates from y2k era but not sure. Dark mark on waistband as shown. May come out with cleaning but as I'm not sure what cleaning method these need, I have not attempted any stain removal.
