Each bag this company created is singularly unique. Crafted from high quality magazine pages, newspapers, candy wrappers, repurposed packaging, bar codes. The bags are crafted using ancient Mayan weaving techniques. Each is completely a one of a kind art piece (functional, yes, but also beautiful). They are water resistant, tear-free and durable. Each piece is made from hundreds of pieces of beautifully printed paper and images. Resistant to water, moisture and heat, it can be spot cleaned if needed. Measures 10” across bottom 9.5” across the top 4.5” tall Red patent leather clutch handle is removable, 9.5” end to end. If using is has a loop about 4.75” Zipper closure with a red patent leather pull. The Nahui Ollin logo in metal (or heavy plastic?) is connected to the bag’s zipper. Features a girl’s face with braids and “con amour Nahui” on the back. The logo is perhaps modeled after a famous Mexican female artist Carmen Mondragon. Look her up she was wild! These bags are somewhat vintage, popular in the 90s and early 2000s.
