New with Tags. Hand Crafted from all new 100% cotton fabrics and made in a smoke free home. This scrappy quilt has hidden pinwheels, and beautiful solids and prints in all shades of the rainbow. Measurements are. 42 1/2” wide and 83” in length, so it’s perfect for a a snuggle up on the couch or bed. Please zoom in to see all the great fabrics included in this feast for the eyes. terri_clarke @susanlane527 This is definitely one I could add on to and double the width since it is a coin quilt and it is made from a huge collection of small pieces of hundreds of prints.. it could also have solid borders added to give more width.

susanlane527 @terri_clarke I would LOVE to have this quilt with more squares &/or rows of squares with additional borders width & additional border(s) to the bottom too (to be coherent with new design)! Would you be able to estimate cost?

terri_clarke @susanlane527 I think it would be less work for me to make an enlarged version of this quilt than to try to open two seams to enlarge this one. I have search my scraps bag and have found enough batiks and prints in these colors to make one from scratch. The top of a queen mattress is 60” x 80” but how much more do you want to add for drop down sides and bottom.

terri_clarke When you get a chance, measure the width of your sides and bottom so we can add it to the 60 x 80. No rush. You take your time. I’ve always have many projects on the drawing board to use up my time. Right now I have 2 children’s quilts special orders to finish and another 30 quilts ready for quilting in my work pile - like the blue, purple and tan batiks on white I sent you a picture of.

susanlane527 I’m over-the-moon that you would start from scratch another quilt similar to this one for me when it works in your schedule. Adding at least 22 inches on each side & end would hide the huge mattress & box spring I inherited from my mom. Please give me a cost estimate when you can😊

terri_clarke @susanlane527 Ok, I just want to be sure on the measurements first. You would need a total width of 104” and a total length of 103” to cover the top of the mattress, both sides and the bottom. This would be what I call floor length. Can you measure one more time in total to see if you get these same numbers.

terri_clarke @susanlane527 So, with the sides and bottom it is actually a king size according to measurements. I could probably do it for around $350, of which I’ve allotted $25 for the extra shipping charge the seller has to pay on the weight over five pounds. I know this seems like a lot, but that price is pretty low for a king. No pressure. Just let me know if it falls in your budget or not.

terri_clarke @susanlane527 Ok, I’ll start cutting on Sunday. Tomorrow is my volunteer work day at Litter Box, our local thrift store that supports our animal shelter. I’ll update you as I progress once I get started. Thanks for the order.
