NWT V&A Speed & Style Transatlantique Exhibtiion, Brown Checkered Tote Bag

New with tags, this is a rare tote bag created for the Speed & Style Transatlantique special exhibition at the V&A Victoria & Albert museum in Kensignton, London UK. The exhibition showcased the glamorous Art Deco era of trasnatlantic ocean liner travel. This bag was designed to look like a Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene trunk - the front side features the iconic brown checked background, gold lock and travel stickers. The back side is plain. The bag is unused and in pristine condition however there is a small fabric bleaching on the back side (see photos for details). For fans of that golden age of ocean travel, art deco or Louis Vuitton collectors, this is a fabulous tote.
