It does have pockets and front buttons. It has a brown plaid print throughout. I do not see any flaws with the item. Please review all pictures and ask any questions you may have. All measurements were taken with the jacket buttoned. Armpit to armpit is about 20.5 inches and pulls to a max of about 21.5 inches. At the max, it might be tighter on. Length from armpit to hem is about 18 inches. Length from the top of the shoulder to the hem is about 28 inches.
