A phenomenal and rare find! This is a genuine vintage Moschino Cheap and Chic dress, known for its playful and surreal Trompe L'oeil (optical illusion) designs pioneered by Franco Moschino. This piece is New With Tags (NWT) and in otherwise pristine, unworn condition apart from a minor flaw at the base of the zipper (see last photo). The Design: • The Illusion: The entire top half is printed to look like a crisp, tailored tuxedo jacket and shirt. • Details: It features painted black lapels, white-on-white pinstripes, a pleated shirt front, a yellow polka-dot bow tie, and a whimsical red rose boutonniere. • Bottom: The skirt is a solid black, contrasting the striped top. • Style: Long sleeves, sheath/bodycon fit, and hits at or above the knee (mini/knee length).
