It does button down the front. The sleeves are a tank top style. I do not see any flaws with the shirt. Please review all pictures and ask any questions you may have. Armpit to armpit is about 22.5 inches and pulls to a max of about 23.5 inches. At the max, it might be tighter on and make the buttons gap some. There is little to no give here. Length from armpit to hem is about 14.5 inches. Length from the top of the shoulder to the hem is about 27 inches.
