kirajayde @monicaaf916 great question! The dress does have an empire waistline. I measured a little farther down on the dress for you and it’s adds about 2 inches in where I guessed the waistline would be on most women. Dresses that have the empire waist are hard to measure because that is slightly below the bust line.
