Classic military-inspired design. Men’s Size S. Durable fabric. Four front pockets. Ideal for layering. Garment-dyed field jacket in reverse cotton sateen. Like many menswear staples, this field jacket has a military history. It's based on the M51, a U.S. Army-issued jacket intended as a layering piece for maximum versatility and named for its year of origin. We built this modified version in sturdy 100 percent cotton with adjustable drawcords at the waist and hem, patch pockets and front zip closure with a snap placket. Each field jacket is garment-dyed for highs and lows of color at the seams, and will fade over time according to how you wear it. Sateen is a type of weave that has a smooth face and slightly textured interior. As with authentic military garments, we reversed the fabric so that the textured surface is on the exterior, further adding to the jacket's character. • 100% cotton. • Point collar. • Snap closure with hidden zip. • Patch pockets with flaps. • Functional buttons at cuffs. • Machine wash.
