This looks like pebbled leather so I guess it's not. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the softest leather possible, what would you honestly rate this? I know crossgrain is a stiffer feeling leather.

Hi, pebbled leather is softer one and has a natural pebbled texture. Coach uses grain leather in which texture is imprinted through machines. That's what I'm reading on the Google: "The cross-grain leather it is stronger, and of better quality".

I would rate it as 3.5 assuming that the softest leather is lambskin leather, which is extremely soft/buttery like
