NWT Cardinal Embroidered Applique Flour Sack Hand Towel

This pretty hand towel has multiple unique features, including an appliqued cardinal with decorative stitching and crochet-type embroidery of a branch and snowflakes. The cardinal even has a faux fur scarf. (I included a photo of the inside of the towel so you can see the back side of the stitching.) The towel is made of 100% cotton flour-sack material. The entire bottom hem of the towel has a wide contrast trim in red, which looks like a ribbon, but is actually another fabric sewn on top of the flour-sack material. The hand towel measures approximately 18 inches wide x 26.5 inches long. Since the main material is 100% cotton, it will presumably shrink a bit after washing. It is machine-washable. The towel also has a sewn-in loop inside one corner for hanging. The flour-sack material is a natural off-white (undyed cotton color). The trim and the cardinal are a deep, holiday red. This towel is NWT, received as a gift and never used. The original tag is still attached. It would make a lovely hostess gift or a nice present for a bird lover or anyone who likes cardinals.
