NWT Bolesławiec Polish Pottery oval 12” platter - flowering peacock pattern

12” long 7.75” wide Handcrafted in Bolesławiec, Poland, using white clay unique to the area. The design is applied using a folk art stamping technique, traditionally inspired by the peacock feather motif with cobalt blue, sage green, and ferrous red colors. The stoneware is high-density, resistant to chips and scratches, and coated with a protective, transparent glaze. It is safe for use in the microwave, dishwasher, oven (up to 475°F), and freezer.
