NWT Alaia Laser-Cut Platform Ankle-Wrap Sandals

NWT Alaia brown laser-cut sandals have incredible details everywhere. The triangular cutouts all along the edge, for example. I think these are just magnificently designed, which is not at all unusual for Alaia. The laser-cut pattern with a pinked edge is so feminine, even the ankle wraps have it, and the way they've shaped the leather around the front of the foot is so flattering. It wraps around your toes and keeps them comfy. My darling husband bought these for me as a surprise 3 years ago, and as I removed the tissue paper inside the box, my eyes widened in delight when I saw the front, then widened in horror when I saw the heel. My back injury doesn't allow me to wear heels this high, I was, and am, devastated to have never gotten to wear these gorgeous creations. I kept them because they were from him, but it's time they get to be admired while out in the world. I hope someone will love them as much as I do.
