NWT 2007 Mossimo Brown Top - Large

Fashion trends and styles are always easy to pinpoint to which span of years they were present in, but have you ever looked at the color of a garment and immediately your brain registers what timeline it’s from? This blouse from Mossimo elicits that exact response. Its particular shade of brown is just so vehemently mid-2000s. That color hex just simply isn’t in production anymore. It’s exclusive to the stretch of timeline when Barnyard was new in the theaters, everybody wanted a Razor Scooter and a Wii, Hilary Duff was a fashion icon, Daniel Powder taught 8-year-old me to work on a smile and go for a ride, and we invaded Iraq. Where was I going with this? Anyway, this blouse is nice, albeit thin, and my mom would be tickled pink for one of you ladies to give it its first-ever outfit and clip the tag off like a grand opening ribbon. Measurements were taken with a soft tape measure, and the garment lied completely flat on the floor like me after overdosing on nostalgia like this, oh wow I’ve really done it now: Chest (pit to pit) - 21" Length (from collar) - 24" Shoulder (from front) - 15" Sleeves (seam to cuff) - 12" •Unsure of the materials, but it feels like the familiar ‘Target’ flavor of synthetic textiles •No rips or stains, just a bit 'heugh' from being in storage •Smoke-free environment.
