NWOT Vintage 2013 Nike Free 5.0 in women’s size 8.5.

Never worn, this blast-from-the-past Nike Free 5.0 is from 2013. It’s part of my stockpiled collection of minimalist shoes. I’m selling a few gems because I now race in a carbon plated shoe for half marathons or longer. This shoe continued the tradition of Nike breaking innovative ground in the running shoe. This 5.0 maximizes the foot’s natural range of motion without sacrificing cushioning or protection. A snug yet comfortable fit. The extensive siping (grooves) on the sole makes the shoe extremely flexible. There’s no heel counter so it’s perfect for anyone with Achilles tendon issues (no hard plastic insert to irritate the tendon from behind). This model also has the Nike Tracker Pod spot hidden under the insert in the left shoe- technology that was truly amazing before everyone had GPS on their wrists and phones! The color is a burgundy/purple that Nike calls “Raspberry” framed by pink. The swooshes and Flyknit strands are white.
