NWOT Nike | 2021 Zoom Freak 2 'Play for the Future'

Never worn The Nike Zoom Freak 2 “Play for the Future” is an appealing colorway of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s second signature shoe with Nike Basketball that was released in March 2021. From Nike’s “Play for the Future” collection, which also includes colorways of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving’s signature Nike basketball shoes, the Zoom Freak 2 in the colorway of the same nickname features a purple textile material on the top of the shoe and a purple synthetic leather construction beneath the Swoosh dressed in a black, green, and purple camo-like pattern. Giannis’ signature Nike logo is embroidered in neon green on the lateral side of the heel and a neon green midfoot overlay can be found on the medial side. Both the tongue patch with green “Nike” branding and the laces display the same speckled, camo-like design found on the aforementioned Swoosh branding on the mid-panel. A grey and black swirl motif appears on the overlays on the forefoot above the purple foam midsole. The Zoom Freak 2 features Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot for a responsive ride.
