It is constructed using two different types of leather – one side is suede (velvet calf leather) & the other side along with the shoulder strap is pebbled cowhide leather. The bag contains two pockets – one zippered pocket & one w/ magnetic closure pockets. There is also space between the two pockets to put small items such as a phone. I bought an additional gold chain strap to use when I wanted to wear it as cross body bag. It is approximately 48” long.
