NWOT Handmade Embroidered Crochet Lace Sundress Romanian Traditional Folk Design

This beautiful baby dress was purchased in Romania and features the country's traditional folk designs and embroidery. Most of the dress is made of a thick, gauze-y material that feels like it's been starched, but would soften after washing. The bodice is decorated with embroidered flowers and leaves. The skirt part of the dress has a pretty flounce and is trimmed with ribbon and lace. The straps and neck of the dress are made of crochet and decorated with crochet flowers. There is also a very delicate, white-ribbon bow at the neck that can be adjusted for fit. The tag on the dress says "0", indicating it is meant for a very young baby. The dress measures 16 inches long from the top of the strap to the bottom of the hem. It is 10 inches wide when measured pit-to-pit and around 11 inches wide at the waist. The armholes are approximately 6.5 inches long when measured from the top of the strap to the bottom of the armpit opening. Fyi, the main color of the dress is bright white though it does not look that bright in the photos. In general, photos do not do this dress justice; it is handmade, one of a kind, and absolutely beautiful. It is also in pristine condition. (Because it was received as a present, it has no tags attached, but it is in new condition; never worn or even tried on.) This would make a unique, wonderful baby gift or a great special-occasion dress for a young baby girl.
