About 4in deep not including outside pocket. The outside has a zip pocket on front and velcro on back. Inside is a roomy space with also a mini zip pocket and a coin purse with loop. The top zips closed but also can just velcro close. Great condition never used. No obvious flaws but im human and its possible for me to miss something. All of my items are from a smoke free home.
