When I purchased these, they were slightly too tight in the waist & they didn’t have them in a 6T. They were one of those “had to have them” articles of clothing that I bought through the years- same scenario, same outcome. I tried them on a few times in a 2 yr period & I never could fit into them comfortably. The welt pockets still have the tack-stitching (or stay-stitching) near the top that is meant to be cut out before you wear them. They are temporary and are used to keep the pockets closed & maintain the shape of the pocket until you cut them out after purchase and then you can use the pockets as intended.
