Create a throw back vintage retro nursery with this heirloom hand embroidered precious pastel butterfly quilt. Each picture panel has a patchwork embroidered butterfly. Hand quilted of 100% cotton with baby blue on one side and solid fabric on the other. Each panel has a white background. 38" x 60" (for a young child's bed, smaller than a twin). Could also be hung on a wall or over a chair. Embroidered for my husband's mom in the 1950s, this quilt is in amazing condition. Only the smallest signs of age. Heirloom quality. This is a handmade butterfly quilt with a light blue background and sixteen white squares, each featuring a unique butterfly design. The quilt was made with an applique technique, where fabric pieces are sewn onto a background fabric to create a design.  The butterflies are crafted from patterned fabrics in shades of green and pink.  The stitching is all handmade, and an authentic cotton nursery quilt. ---- Offers Welcome.
