alexanderdebbie @blonde2227 Yes, I have these two and two that are rescues. They are all mischievous scalawags and we adore them! Every time somebody makes a purchase from my closet, a percentage goes to help save rescue dogs. I have been doing this all my life (along with a real job to pay the bills, lol), and have bottle fed many a newborn kitten or pup. It’s a work of love, so thanks for visiting my closet! alexanderdebbie @dianeshopping Thank you so much for visiting my closet! Yes, I am in “purse rescue” but “dog rescue” is my real passion. I have way too any purses. I have 4 long haired dachshunds, 2 rescues, 1 “gift” and 1 that was a “gimme” because it was bonded to her brother, so…..what could I do? Anyway part of every sale from my closet goes to help save rescue dogs.

dianeshopping @alexanderdebbie I wasn’t thinking at all of this as a pity bribe! And rest assured, I wasn’t posting this so you’d give me a pity offer! I had a Pomeranian who passed last year. I adopted him from a shelter when he was just a year old. I miss him so much but I’m finally at a point where I’m ready to get adopt a new baby!

dianeshopping In the past week, I keep encountering dachshunds. It’s been the weirdest thing. I do live in an apartment building, but until this past week, I hadn’t run into any dachshunds and then 2 in a row! And now yours so to speak! Is this the universe telling me something? I thought I only wanted a Pom!

alexanderdebbie @dianeshopping Oh I’m SO glad you are finally ready to welcome another fur baby into your life. The unconditional love is such a gift! I’ve had all kinds of dogs throughout my life, rescues, breeds, all kinds. And dachshunds are all so individual with their personalities. Many breeds have similar character traits, and dachshunds do too, but every one I’ve had (and I’ve now had 6 in my lifetime) all have such different personalities! And they are SO funny!

alexanderdebbie They will give you some of the most laughable moments of your life with their short stubby legs (we call them tiny tyrannosaurus legs) cause they can never quite reach what they are reaching for, lol!

dianeshopping @alexanderdebbie Well as far as Poms go, I’m only a fan of the more traditional type with prominent snouts and ears that are triangular shape and point up. They are called fox-face Pomeranians. They’re typically weighing a few more pounds than these tiny little doll-face and bear-face Poms who look a lot like stuffed animals. Not really my thing! The type I just described are more commonly bred today. And they are cute, but I’m not interested in a stuffed animal. Lol

dianeshopping @alexanderdebbie Well anyway, it was really nice chatting with you. I’m still considering your Ady Perennial wallet. Your Small Finley is really beautiful but it’s not a style I carry. I should be receiving a Fallon I purchased from a friend in the next couple of days. I know my Jane Coral Snapdragon wallet would work with that bag without having to buy the matching wallet.
