monmay @sunnydaysahead hi there! Laying flat the waist is 16.5in and 17in long. You can adjust waist size a bit with the belt. Also there’s a lot of give thru the hips due to the knitted leather. I would say this skirt could really fit as big as a size 10 (snuggly) and as small as a size 6 depending on where it sits on the hip/waist. I’m a true size 6 and could make it work but it would sit a little lower on my hip and I prefer high waisted. This is an amazing piece!

sunnydaysahead @monmay I'm a size 6 or 8, depending on the brand, but I think this may fit. I just need to measure one of my skirts to be sure the waist will fit. Do you think the belt can reduce the waist of the skirt by as much as an inch?

monmay @sunnydaysahead if you’re a 6/8 this should be perfection on you! Im more a 4/6 now which is why im selling but i hate to let it go. I love it so much but I’m keeping an eye out for a replacement in smaller size. Yes, the belt can take it in an inch. I’ll add photos of the belt part up close for you. Would it help if I upload a pic of me trying it on and provide my measurements?

monmay @sunnydaysahead I just added pictures of me trying it on. As you can see, it could work on me but it’s gaping at the waist a bit. I’m normally a size 28in jeans. Hope that helps!

monmay @sunnydaysahead very welcome! I’m 5’10 about 130lbs. I was going to measure my waist but I can’t find a tape measure. I recently lost 15lbs so I’m probably closer to a true size 4 now. I’m still wearing 6 but everything is loose on me. Also, I think the skirt is probably a little shorter than it appears in the pic. I didn’t get a great angle.
