rachaelbagel @nancyherrington Really not at all - there’s 8” or so of zipper (it turns out) up the ankle from the sole, and the suede is pretty light and flexible. I can’t get them all the way on myself (they’re my sister’s, so 1.5 sizes too small) but a friend who’s a steady size 8 tried them on and had no problem. Said they felt like butta.

rachaelbagel @ranchon412 Nope, although I’m sure that depends on the size of the leg filling them out! But these have good structure. I have average size legs for my height/shoe size and I find that my Frye boots juuuust barely fit over my calves and generally remain snug and form-fitting, though they do soften a little with wear, like good leather does. Hope that answer helps!
