NEW Vintage Shell Pin Brooch in Real 14K Gold (not plated)

NEW I am calling this unique looking pin brooch a vintage piece as it sits in my stock for more than 20 years. The theme (main body) of this pin is a piece of cream tone shell (mother of pearl). In ancient time, this kind of shell piece with delicate carving was called "gambling chip". I guess it was used as a means of "transactional payment" ? Importantly, the carving work on this piece of exceptional "artwork" is very attractive and delicate. On top of the pin, there are many small gold loops/rings. You might be able to turn this pin into a necklace piece by attaching a gold chain onto those rings by your creative jeweler? Framed in real 14K gold, not plated. 14K585 stamped. Approximate measurements: 0.75" x 2.4" Approximately weighs 8.5 grams.
