The color is "ecru" similar to a raw-natural white or cream color, not a bright white. New with tag; has defect. Defect being a faint grayish mark (not stained) on the neck seam that looks like dust or perhaps eye makeup from customer fitting, not sure. It does look like something that can be cleaned.
