NEW RESCUE STORY! TRIGGER WARNING (skinny horse)

TRIGGER WARNING last photo is a very skinny horse. We took in Radagast the Brown August 10 2025 and he was very very skinny. Radagast is a 31 year old gelding, former trail horse, very very good boy!! Previous owner was not able to care for him but was able to reach out to us and get him to us for help. The first two photos are most recent October 2025 and he is doing great!!! We have him on a very regimented feeding routine and lots of vet recommended supplements and weight gain plan. Almost no ribs showing now and his hip bones are way less protruded. Just in time for the freezing temps! As you can imagine, getting a horse up to weight with such frequent feeding can be quite expensive.
