aunties_3 @kabouch89 Glad you asked this question. I searched and found that the Xfinity phone is eligible to be unlocked. I just need to call a number and they will send me a code. Once the SIM card is replaced, the code is entered and everything will be fine. Called and was on hold for over an hour. Going to Xfinity on Monday to see if they can assist with getting me the code.

aunties_3 @kabouch89 Good morning - Comcast says the phone is eligible to be unlocked but I need to call and get the code. Still trying to get through. They said if you stay on Comcast/Xfinity you do not need the code but I am still trying to get it.

aunties_3 @kabouch89 Finally got through to them and they are emailing me the unlock code. Said it can take up to 48 business hours.
