The jacket is made of heavyweight 12-ounce 100% cotton duck, tightly woven to ensure wind and snag resistance. The outer shell is treated to repel water and triple stitched at the main seams for maximum strength. It is blanket lined with 60% acrylic and 40% polyester to provide warmth without adding bulk. There are convenience under collar snaps so that you can purchase or add your own hood. There is zipper front wind flap with a hook and loop closure to help seal out cold air.
