NEW 2001 DISNEY MARKRITA 60 BAMBI THUMPER FIGURE & HIDDEN PIN DRAWER

New in box, 2001, Walt Disney Gallery, Markrita brand, colorful resin sculptured figural box. It features a young and wobbly Bambi and a laughing Thumper. It was created in 2001 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 1942 release of Walt Disney’s animated classic “Bambi” and was originally sold in limited numbers at the various Walt Disney Galleries scattered throughout the United States and at a few of the Disney Parks. There is a hidden compartment that slides open to reveal a lapel pin of Flower the skunk. Flower is also made of resin and is approximately 2 .5” long.  It was created by husband and wife team Mark and Rita Dornan, who also created several other figural boxes for the Walt Disney Gallery, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Jessica Rabbit, Lady and the Tramp, Donald Duck and Alice in Wonderland. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. This item has never been used for its purpose. Only removed from the box to take photos. IMPORTANT: The outer box, shows signs of edge wear from being in storage. (See photos for details) I am the original owner.
