NES Ryne Sandberg Plays Bases Loaded 3 (Nintendo Entertainment System, 1993)

Perennial all-star of the late 1980s and early 1990s Ryne Sandberg joins Jaleco for their third game in the Bases Loaded series, Ryne Sandberg Plays Bases Loaded 3. There are three ballparks on which to play and 13 teams to choose from. The game also has an edit feature that allows you to change a team's attributes. As you look on with the centerfield view, you'll see the basics are there as well: make diving catches, substitute players, throw different pitches, bunt, and steal bases. Instead of the long season found in previous Bases Loaded games, Bases Loaded 3 has a unique system. Based on your quality of play, you are ranked on a scale of one to five. Your ultimate goal is to be good enough to defeat a level five team. To do that, you'll have to play at the same level as Ryne Sandberg. No one said this was going to be easy.
