The Natural Indigo Loomstate is a 13oz Japanese Selvedge denim dyed with Natural Indigo and preserved in its natural Unsanforized loomstate form.
***IMPORTANT***
***This denim has not been through any finishing processes like preshrinking, or anti skewing. This is denim made the old-fashioned way before any of these finishing processes existed. These jeans will SHRINK SIGNIFICANTLY after the FIRST WASH. Refer to the pre and post shrink guide to determine the right size for you.***
Cut, sewn, built in Canada with contrast stitching, classic red line selvedge ID, blue leather patch, and silver metallic buttons and rivets.
The Easy Guy is a high-rise tapered fit with a relaxed top block and a sharp taper from knee to hem.

I wasn't able to find a size chart for this fit. but those with experience with raw denim know what to expect. the warp usually shrinks more than the weft, which is why the waist, rise, and inseam shrinks more than horizontal leg measures.

@daviddavila282 hey. I don't mind, but I just want to make sure you understand these are unsanforized, so the measurements I posted will shrink, especially in the warp. that is why the waist and length shrink the most because the yarns are thicker and the waistband is cut and turned 90° to the warp is going horizontal. so for these to fit you properly post soak the normal waist size you buy should be 30"

@daviddavila282 an remember that there's a difference between the tag size and actual waist size for many companies. so if you aren't sure of your normal waist size, measure the waist of your best fitting jeans exactly ho I did in the picture. most people on here have no clue how to measure the waist, and they let the front of the waistband sag and that pulls in the ends, giving an inaccurate measurement.

@daviddavila282 If you do think they'll work for you, then I have no problem working with you. I actually just got these as a bundle, and one pair was my size, but whoever got this pair obviously didn't know how unsanforized denim works. if these don't work out for you, I have plenty of like new and NWT naked and famous jeans I can part with, but they might be more expensive than these if they are nwt. these are a hard size to sell.

@joeydecay bro! I truly appreciate the knowledge. Okay, sorry if I ask too many questions, btw. But, I am a 32x34 in Levi’s Selvedge. I am not one to wash my jeans often. But what you are saying is these could fit one day then I could wash them and then not fit at all?

@daviddavila282 bro. I can talk denim for days it's my passion. but Levi's have been through a process called sanforization, and that shrinks and skews and singes the denim so its nice and uniform. these have not been through any shrink process yet, so the first thing you do is wash them hot, and that tightens up the fabric so these are a 32" waist NOW but after a hot wash they'll be closer to 30. I put post wash estimates in the description.

@daviddavila282 Levi's can use vanity sizing, too, so take yr jeans that fit the best and measure the waist how I did. You don't want the front of the waistband to be sagging, like everyone on this app does, but you want to pull up the front flush with the back evenly across so you get an accurate measurement. If yr trying to measure the distance between 2 separate lines at once, they have to be the same. So many people do it wrong here. I don't know why. it's simple geometry to me.

and vanity sizing is what the company labels it as,but they are actually not that size. one pair from N&F I own is tag size 29, but the waist size is 32". So always ask for measurements. luckily, this company is good at posting measurements for every fabric and every fit. even though the fit is the same, the sizing may be different in other fabrics. Sometimes I need a 30 or 31. that's why I always measure accurately. It's hard to takepics while holding down the tape, but what I type is correct.

@daviddavila282 basically these may fit you, depending on the measurements you come up with before you wash the,but you should wash them before you wear them to tighten the yarn and make it durable. and always inside out. most raw denim is sanforized or one washed, so pre shrunk. I'll go months without washing some pairs, but others I'll wash more, like ones I work in cause the dust and dirt isn't good either. it's just something sitting in there rubbing against the fibers causing damage.

but if you get sanforized denim I wear mine without washing for a while to get the creases in them. If you need to wash them, to preserve the color and not worry about them shrinking, wash cold inside out. I actually have a little bit of extra room in the waist for comfort, and I wear them at the waist. It's a lot to take in but as an honest man, you don't want these as a beginner pair of raw denim Let me know yr true waist size and I will try to find a good pair for you to start with.

@daviddavila282 most of my jeans are sanforized and if not washed once before sold. I only have this and 1 other pair that is shrink to fit. I have a few that are new. some hardly worn. they're almost all waist 32". unsanforized one wash is cool because you can get some cool textures that can be lost in the sanforization process. Oni has amazing textures in their jeans. bit some people prefer that crisp sanforized denim feel to set in the creases. most denim is sanforized or one washed.

@daviddavila282 basically this type you don't come across often. Especially in America. raw selvedge denim jeans are usually preeshrunk in some way.
