Mystery Ranch Back pack

My brother purchased it on sale at REI. He didn't like it and gave it to me. It has one pocket on the top with a key fab. backpack opens like a jacket and on the left and right side there are pockets, the size is what you see is the black mesh. It has a natural curve. It comes with optional/ removable chest straps. It has a laptop sleeve. I do not like that it does not stand up on it's own- likely due to the curve. My guess is with the weight of a lap top and files it tips over. The outside side pockets may fit a standard 16.9 ounce water bottle but otherwise does not carry much. I know it's a good brand so wanting to make it work but it does not work for me. Used for a total of a month between me and my brother.
