Mystery Gem

Another beautiful gemstone from the mystery lot that I have not yet had time to test. This one was unlabeled, and is a bright, vibrant deep green with very high refraction (it's extremely sparkly in light). It has such a glow with this deep, bright moss green color, at first I thought it might be green sapphire, but then after pulling it out I'm leaning towards a tourmaline. It is very eye clean with no visible inclusions that I saw. As with the rest that I have not yet been able to test, this is being posted as a mystery gemstone and sold at a huge discount! According to the information I do have, this weighs 2.2 carats, and measuring 9.0 x 7.0 x 4.5 mm, does not show signs of heat treatment, and appears to have very high clarity. I HAVE been testing gems from this lot as I can (it's expensive so I'm only doing a few at a time here and there), and I've gotten feedback from others who have purchased these. Quite a few have turned out to be emeralds, aquamarine, paraiba tourmalines, and sapphires. I may need to stop letting these go! Please feel free to ask questions!
