I absolutely LOVE old houses. 😍 How wonderful of you to honor the past AND the spirits who lived there prior to you by bringing the home back to its former glory. 🌹What a labor of love! pepitts17 @mama_magnolia Actually I have some stories, but not so much here for some reason. I think the past peoples like my presence and what I'm doing. I honestly get that feeling. I did have a picture of me sitting at the table and a very large orb is directly over my head. I was told I was very protected. I cannot find that picture for some reason and I have looked everywhere.

mama_magnolia @pepitts17 Perhaps spirits come around you because you’re an empath & they feel like “yay, here’s someone who can feel us & know we truly exist.” So many people are empaths & just don’t know it. I wonder if you go to your local library or historical society, you can look up that little child’s name (on the gravestone).

mama_magnolia @pepitts17 it seems so sad that maybe that child isn’t at rest because his gravestone isn’t in the correct place or something. Poor little lamb. 😞 I love history, antiques & ephemera. I guess since being able to communicate w/ the “other side” since a young age, I became interested in antiques. I’ve collected since I was 16 & started working (in the mall lol). I have them throughout my house.

leanderandhero Beautiful home!!! I like the color too! I love old houses; ours is about the same age- the farm & house have been in my husband's family since the late 19th century. It's not as pretty as yours, but it's big, full of character, & we love it. Also- You have great stuff in your closet!

leanderandhero @pepitts17 Isn't that the truth!!! Everything in our house is time worn & some doorways lean a bit, but it's still in good shape when so many newer homes are already falling apart. Same with clothes! I love individual pieces because they're my style & beautiful, not because they're a trend or a certain designer label! I love that you took the time & care to restore your beauty; too many of these pretty old houses are left to rot :(
