It is fun but we don't get many trick or treaters because they go to the rich people's houses that are more bunched together or go to public community or school candy hand outs! I do ALL of the decorating alone...except for getting the spider up & down on the roof...that is team effort there!

penelopejean @zev4u_lexx_luvr I hate that! We don't get very many trick or treaters either... And my kids are now old enough to go trick or treating so we probably won't even be home on Halloween anyway! But I still want to decorate! I might have to follow your example and just do it myself too!

serendipityduds Very, very cool. For this Texas girl, I'm jealous that it was cold. We may have broken a record in Dallas-Fort Worth today. Record for Halloween was 87. It was there at noon, so we probably hit 89 or 90. These things should not be. It's Nov in a few hours, for heaven's sake!!!! Aaargh! Our leaves haven't even changed colors yet!

I had a life size big skeleton dog that howled on the ramp of our front door & caulked all my tombstones to stones. I was not relishing chasing tombstones. The wind really whips thru our yard right down towards the Delaware River.
