kellicam Hi Heather. I just checked the status of your ring. It's out for delivery today, thank God! I shipped it out like the next day and Posh ships 2-day priority or so I thought?!?!?! So I don't know what happened, but I want to apologize on behalf of the USPS, I guess????? I wish Posh had a way of contacting them via phone instead of E-mail as they don't respond very timely in my experience. 😞 I hope you love the ring!!!!! 💚💍🍀 It's beautiful!

bicycle_belle @havefaith29 are you talking about the plaid one or the smaller vintage one? I have the vintage one as a gift but still have the plaid with the red strap and had hoped to get it cleaned up and either start using it or sell it. Right now it is in a dustbag in a storage tub.

bicycle_belle @havefaith29 I paid 255 for the purse, so after that I would need to sell for enough to cover posh's fees- which would bring the total cost to 308. There was wear on the leather where the handles meet the hardware and some areas that just needed cleaned but no damage. I just haven't set down with a damp cloth and babied it back to its former glory yet! It does also have its dustbag, which I would ship with it.

I always check comps before I price and list but seems like pricing is all over the place? I had one longtime user tell me I gave her too much of a discount...

bicycle_belle @reereescloset you have a bunch of nice things- IMO you are about 15-25% higher than where need to be to sell quickly. Keep that in mind when someone makes an offer- also don't get stuck on negotiations within 5 dollars of what you want to counter- just accept the deal, a bird in the hand...and remember that posh takes $ so if you are $2 or so away, you are fighting over 1.60. Think of the aggregate of your sales and not each sale individually

reereescloset @bicycle_belle it's frustrating though. When I have dropped prices down to like $10 it's not moving. Is that because I priced it too high in the first place?

bicycle_belle @reereescloset unfortunately there is a threshold where people think if it's so cheap there must be something wrong. The pieces I found to be high was the golf pants and a couple of other things. Unless it's a kids piece, accessories like scarves or hair ties etc; you should stay above 15 as much as you can. Be aggressive in the offers, don't worry about the asking price as long as you feel it is fair, then remind people you accept offers or are happy to make a bundle offer for them.

bicycle_belle @reereescloset I will put a 🌼 in the comments of your pieces I think you should at least shave 10% off of...and 🌼🌼 for 20%. Know this is just my gut recommendation and you can override any suggestion I make.

reereescloset @bicycle_belle here's a perfect example of my frustration. The brand-new Michael KORS top that I have I think it is my first listing I dropped the price on that over the weekend to $29 and still didn't sell it. It's brand-new and retails for 130

bicycle_belle @reereescloset I try to drop close to 5- thinking that the east coast is headed home, some on public transit and the west coast is headed back from lunch. I think NYC and LA. You can and should also search by city and follow posters who live in larger cities- when hey share it has a greater likelihood of being seen by more people.

bicycle_belle @reereescloset I will put a 🌺 on pictures that I think have an ineffective cover photo. And a 🐻 of the majority of the pictures are out of focus or confusion as to what the item looks like. 9 X out of 10 photos are the reason things don't sell more so than price
